One of the interesting things about using AI for architectural design is the element of chance. 
When you design something yourself, 
you imagine it in your head, but that seems to be a mix of past knowledge. 
The same thing happens with AI. A good example is the Blend method. 
When you blend one image with another, the world behind the screen merges. 
In just under 30 seconds, two parallel worlds intersect and a new building is imagined.
 It's a world I'd never imagined.


AIで建築デザインする場合の面白さの一つに、偶発性があります。
自分でデザインする場合には頭の中で想像しますが、
それは過去の知識のMIXだと思われます。
それと同じことがAIの中でも起こります。
わかりやすい例としてはBlendという方法です。

ある画像とある画像をblendした場合、画面の奥にある世界が融合します。
ほんの３０秒足らずでふたつのパラレルワールドが交わり、
新たな建築が想像されます。
それは私の頭の中になかった世界です。

At that moment, did a new world really emerge behind this single image?

Did a world come into being because I clicked?

I don't know if a world that was already there simply appeared on the screen.

このとき果たしてこの一枚の画像の奥で新しい世界が出現したのでしょうか？

私がクリックしたことによって世界が生まれたのか？

もともとあった世界が画面に出てきただけなのかはわかりません。
