It took thirty seconds to draw. In 1990 a perspective like this took me a week. What would it take to build?

Hexagonal panels close a sphere efficiently, as in a geodesic dome. Every panel is nearly the same, so this arrangement, which even looks a little nostalgic, suits factory production. Is the AI pitching itself to the level of human culture?
Three slim legs carry the whole sphere plus the wind pushing on it. The loads arrive at a few points, and the roof below was never designed for that. The AI draws it anyway, because it knows that people can invent the materials a design needs after the design exists.
It is docked on top of an existing building, next to a penthouse. In Japan that means checking the old structure, height limits and fire rules before anything lands. The AI parks wherever it likes. It knows about mischief: the play and the thrill of breaking the law.
