1One continuous line
Roof, wall and eave run as a single white ribbon. This unbroken line is the inherited gene: the building reads as one gesture, not as parts. At an old-school architecture school, a continuous surface that is neither roof nor wall would have failed the course, mocked as a design with no taste and no knowledge.
屋根と壁と庇が、一本の白いリボンとして続いている。この途切れない線が受け継いだ遺伝子だ。建物は部品ではなく、一つの身ぶりとして読める。屋根だか壁だかわからない連続は、昔の学校なら落第し、センスも知識もないと馬鹿にされたデザインだ。

2A single thin column
The long cantilever rests on one slender column. The AI draws the line first and leaves the structure to be solved later. Three-dimensional structural calculation should be easy work for an AI; one way or another, it can be made to stand. The structural software used by the building authorities, however, could never handle it.
長い片持ちが、一本の細い柱に乗っている。AIは先に線を描き、構造はあとで解けばいいと考えている。立体的な構造計算はAIにはお手の物のはずだ。どうやっても成り立つのだ。しかしながら、役所のつかう構造ソフトには無理だ。

3The white sports car
A white sports car is parked in front. Architects have long photographed their houses with cars; the AI has learned that a car tells you how modern and how expensive a house is. Yet once cars drive themselves, a sports car will no longer be the cool machine you risk your life in.
白いスポーツカーが停まっている。建築家は昔から、自邸を車と一緒に撮ってきた。AIは、車が家の新しさと値段を語ることを学んでいる。自動運転になったら、命を危険にさらすかっこいいスポーツカーではなくなるのに。

4The house doubled
The still lake doubles the house. Half of this architecture exists only as a reflection. An object with curves that belong to neither bird nor animal: this is architecture as the AI draws it, a container for humans.
静かな湖が、家を二倍にしている。この建築の半分は、映り込みの中にしか存在しない。鳥でも動物でもない曲線を持った物体は、AIが描く建築という人間の入れ物なのだ。
