パクリの妙で、建築の歴史はそういうものでもあると思う。

When the AI made a house with the genes of De Stijl, the hard edge of that era was gone. I saw instead the delicacy of a Japanese car. In a sense it is not essential: the colours and mood were inherited, yet a completely different house was born.

It feels old-fashioned, yet there is a modern essence too, the freshness of a new song. Anyone who knows will recognise the source at a glance. The art of borrowing: architectural history is like that as well.

デ・ステイルの建築の遺伝子をもった住宅のイメージをAIがつくったとき、その時代の硬派なイメージがなく、日本車のような繊細さが見えた。ある意味本質的ではないが、色や雰囲気は継承したものの、全く別物の住宅建築が生まれている。古臭いスタイルとは感じるが、現代風のエッセンスも感じる。現代風の新曲を聞いたような新しさもある。知る人が聞けば元ネタのわかる曲であるのは、見ればわかる。パクリの妙で、建築の歴史はそういうものでもあると思う。
